UID / AADHAAR Card
How to get Aadhar Car ? How to register for Aadhar or What is the process for getting the UID ? Do you have these questions ? I have attempted to compile guidelines to help in some way.
You shall have to visit the Aadhaar Facilitation center in our area (there are 2 of them in our vicinity with addresses listed below) with one of the Address proofs (preferably Ration Card) mentioned below, and procure a Registration Form
1) Once the Registration Form is procured, please take the required number of Photo Copies corresponding to your family members. (If you have 4 members in a family, take 3 photo copies, so that you have 4 set of forms; one each for each member of the family)
2) Fill the set of forms; one each for each member of the family
3) Fill the last sheet (pink colour) as well which is in Marathi
4) Attach any two of the following documents with each set of forms (2 different documents from the Photo identity & Address category: it can be only one if you are attaching a document which is common to both the categories)
5) For school going children, you may attach only the document under the Date of Birth category
6) Once the form is filled and required documents attached, each member shall have to visit the Facilitation Center personally, repeat, personally to submit the documents and complete the process.
7) You have to take the ORIGINAL document for each document which you have attached with the Forms
8) Once you reach the Facilitation Center, you shall have to wait in the queue for submission (typical wait time may be 2-3hrs, depending the on the time & day of the week, you choose to visit)
9) Once, inside, the document verification and Finger Print/Eye recognition procedure may take 25-30mts per person (it is important to verify each of the details entered by the Operator to avoid any typing errors by them)
10) After this process is completed, the UID Card is couriered to the address within 2 months as claimed by the government. But in practice, it takes much longer time.

You may access the link below to search the center nearest to you place of residence. For this, you need to have your Pin Code with you. Also note that some of the Centers may not be operational.

Timings
The center is open between 10.00am to 5.00pm. For senior citizens, the timings are from 12.00noon to 2.00pm
